Children's Mental Health & Wellbeing
We believe that the school has an important role to play in helping children to learn the importance and value of kindness. Many children experience tough times, just like many adults, and at these moments small acts or words of kindness, from a classmate or member of staff can make a positive difference.
We have and continue to develop the skills and resources to provide our children with the support they need. We are developing a whole school culture which provides structured, proactive support to all children suffering from mental health difficulties and anxiety.
The Leicester NHS Children and Young People's Mental Health Service Directory provides details of mental health services, including online and telephone support, for young people.
In addition, Health for Kids and Health for Teens contain a range of information and advice about physical and mental health.
